Manouvering material handling equipment involves risk and the driver usually do not has a good vehicle's rear vision. Thus, chances to cause an accident increase.

Greensight is an active detection device which combines safety and comfort, offering the driver a complete vision (in case a camera is mounted) and control of the rear forklift's zone.

Greensight helps the driver

Experience is required to drive material handling equipment. Distances between the rearmost part of the truck and obstacles are usually small and, because of the different activities going on, situation changes constantly. Greensight puts at driver's service a set of warnings that help him to reduce dangerous situations.

Active safety

Greensight detects objects through ultrasonic waves and it is based on a calculating software. This implies high accuracy and reliability, even in darkness and under bad meteorological conditons. A visual signal on the screen, combined with acoustic signals with their variable intensity, allow the driver to know the obstacle's distance. Greensight with the mounted camera removes any uncertainty. When something is detected, an image appears on the screen so that the driver can take a look at the current situation, Greensight's electronic components and display are constantly running when driving.

Operation

Two or more ultrasonic sensors scan up to 9 meters behind the truck. This region is subdivided in three other zones, having each one a unique visual and acoustic signal. If target's distance is lower than 70 cm, the STOP word is shown on the display. Rear detection area can be adjusted according to equipment specifications.
