Compact AC motor

Toyota AC motors are more compact for the same power output when compared to  conventional DC motors. This difference in physical size has allowed relocating the battery under the floor of the truck, resulting in more head and legroom that increase driver comfort and efficiency.

Regenerative braking 

Toyota’s AC power systems provide a strong regenerative braking force that makes driving safer. At the same time, they return up to 30% of the total power used to the battery, considerably increasing operating time.
