Aisle width calculator uses VDI 2198 geometrical expressions.

Total clearance (a) is set to 200 mm by default, which is the same used by Toyota on their technical specifications to define forklift's aisle width. However, this can be modified to be adjusted to any needs and restrictions.

The minimum turning radius (Wa) of a forklift truck is the radius of the smallest circle, which includes the rearmost or outermost points of the truck. This is determined under the unloaded condition while the truck is performing its sharpest practical turn at its lowest forward speed. The definition is thus made to indicate the turning ability of the truck.

The internal turning radius (b13) is the distance from the centerline of the truck to the center point of the turn.
